About Us

Our incredible journey into the world of gundogs and show dogs began many years ago when we first saw a beautiful grey dog running with his owner through Centennial Park in Sydney.

Upon seeing this dog, our love for the breed became evident and soon after this, our first Weimaraner was purchased from John and Rosemary Mayhew of Bromhund Kennels, Queensland. He was Bromhund Ziggy aka “Ziggy”. This boy  introduced us to the show circuit and was an outstanding dog both in his show and home life. In the 13 years that Ziggy was with us, he taught us many life lessons, some of which we will never forget. He certainly holds a very special place in our hearts and is the reason why our love for the Weimaraner still continues today.

Soon after the passing of Ziggy, we decided to put showing on hold, becoming busy with parental duties to two human children. With a busy household, our lives and beds were still shared by one or two grey ghosts and it was not long after our parental duties were over, that we decided to return to the show ring.

Our next Weimaraner was purchased and he was Aust Ch Bromhund Nirvana ETaka “Indy”. Indy was lovely devoted dog with an outstanding temperament,
He gave us 10 yrs of loyal companonship and will always hold a very special place in our hearts

In the early 2000 we became interested in another breed being attracted by their elegance and gentle disposition.

In 2004 we purchased our first pointer from Arista Kennels in NZ  Aust Gr Ch Arista Shavon-True aka “Flynn” a very true to type black and white boy,  he went on to become our first Grand Champion and in the process stole our hearts and got us 'hooked" on Pointers
and as they say, the rest is history.

The turning point for our kennel and Show Team was the aquisition of two outstanding Pointers  Aust Gr Ch/Am Ch Solivia St Croix (Imp USA) aka “Charlie” and Aust Gr Ch/Am Ch Solivia's Sun Thru The Clouds (Imp USA) aka "Glamour"sent to us by Susan Thompson and Katey  Brown of Solivia Pointers USA.

'Charlie' a spectacular black and white dog, with flawless movement and beautiful head, has made a significant impact with the Australian show scene and of course the breed, by gaining his Australian title in a matter of weeks and his Grand Champion title in 14 months of showing, taking out multiple Best in Show and Runner up Best in Show, Best in Groups and numerous Class in Shows  along the way. With a bright future ahead of him, we cannot wait to see what’s in store from him next.

'Glamour' a stunning orange and white girl, with her classic Pointer head, smooth outline, unparalleled soundness and movement is certain to leave an indelebile mark wherever she goes.

Then came the addition of another handsome male Pointer from New Zealand send to us by Diane O'Neil of Chesterhope Kennels NZ .
Aust Gr ChChesterhope Dangerous Liaison With Hipoint 'Marcus'
